3PL for small businesses that big 3PLs won't take seriously

If you are shipping tens or hundreds of orders a month, you are usually too small for the big providers and too busy to keep packing yourself.

There is no magic order number. The moment to outsource is not a volume on a chart — it is the point where packing orders starts taking time away from growing your brand.

That is the gap Parcelo was built for: brands that are past packing at the kitchen table, but not yet priced properly by the national providers.

What usually goes wrong at this size

  • You are quoted a minimum monthly charge that assumes volume you do not have yet
  • The contract runs twelve to thirty-six months, with a penalty for leaving early
  • Fees you were not shown at quote stage appear on the first invoice
  • Anything non-standard about your packing becomes an exception charge
  • Support arrives through a queue rather than a person who knows your product

How we price differently

Costs are clear before your first order ships. Receiving, storage, pick and pack, packaging, shipping and returns are all set out in your rate card before you commit.

Agreements are built around how your brand actually operates. Month-to-month arrangements are available to founding brands.

Fulfilment shouldn't require decoding your invoice. Every charge that can appear on yours is explained before onboarding.

How we decide whether it is a fit

Low-volume brands are welcome during Parcelo's launch, subject to operational fit and available capacity. There is no minimum order number to clear before you are allowed to ask.

What matters more than volume is whether the work suits the operation: how your products are stored, how they are packed, and what your customers expect in the box.

If self-fulfilment is genuinely the better answer for you right now, we will say so rather than sign you up to find out.

Common questions

Is a 3PL worth it at my volume?
There is no magic order number. If packing orders is taking time away from growing your brand, it may be time to outsource. Use the calculator to see a realistic cost range, then ask — low-volume brands are welcome during launch, subject to fit and capacity.
What if my volume drops after peak?
You are billed against the rate card you agreed, so a quieter month is a quieter invoice. Anything that applies to your account through a seasonal dip is set out before you start, not discovered afterwards.
How long is the commitment?
Agreements are designed around your operation. Month-to-month arrangements are available to founding brands.
